India Ambassador C Rajasekhar presented a conference at UNIBE

India Ambassador C Rajasekhar presented a conference at Universidad Iberoamericana, UNIBE with the title *India and its opportunities*. The lecture was the third in a series of conferences on the Commonwealth of countries. First conference was offered by the British Ambassador, Steven Fisher with the topic "Britain and the Commonwealth". This was followed by the Canadian Ambassador Georges Boisse.

The Round Table of the Commonwealth Countries in the Dominican Republic, in conjunction with UNIBE, organizes the lectures with the objective to promote economic, political and social relations. . The lectures provide academicians, businessmen, political leaders and the public in general an opportunity to learn more of the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth is a voluntary organization of 54 countries spread over 6 continents are large nations such as Australia, India, South Africa, Canada, but also small ones such as Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Singapore, Mauritius, Jamaica, among others.

Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain heads the Commonwealth, on which the Round Table of Commonwealth Nations arose as an initiative to promote bilateral relations between Dominican Republic and those 54 countries.
